After the preview released back in September 2006, we report the first official information about the RoadRazer, an extreme and lightweight sportscar that is going to be sold in the UK market.
The Concept
RoadRazerThe idea behind the RoadRazer was to create an formula-like sportscar: a man-machine interface in the most extreme form that would act an extension of the driver.
Technical Features
With a total weight of just 666 lbs (302 kg) and thanks to the Suzuki Hayabusa 1300cc engine - converted to dry-sump - which delivers about 175 hp, the RoadRazer can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3 seconds.
RoadRazerThe main technical include a body and chassis made of carbon fiber, a low center of gravity and effective aerodynamics.

The transmission adopts a six speed sequential gearbox, which is activated by paddles mounted on the steering wheel. Use of the clutch is only needed on downshifts. Wheels are 7x17 inches in size and tires are 215/50-17.
RoadRazerThe monocoque is made from a sandwich of carbon/aluminium honeycomb/carbon.
Safety structure include a replaceable nose cone, side pods and engine cover as absorbing energy elements. Roll over protection is fitted under the engine cover.
The RoadRazer can transport two people, with the passenger sitting on a minimal seat just behind the driver, with the legs on each side of the driver.
Braking system features 320 mm front disks combined with six-piston calipers and 282 mm rear disks coupled with two-piston calipers.
